Hi friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was great, full of sunshine, relaxing outdoors, bike riding and cleaning out my closets. It feels good to get rid of things we never use and only end up cluttering our small space. If we have to end up staying in this house longer than we thought (and it seems like that is what is happening due to the drastic price drops of those selling around us) than we need to get rid of stuff we don’t need and make room for a longer stay. I have dreams of painting the walls, cabinets, trim, and adding wood floors on the main level to really make this a home we love. But doing these things costs money and won’t really add to the value of our townhouse at this point… What would you guys do if you were in this position?
I’m thinking of starting a new series on the blog tomorrow where I talk about 25 things I love, one each day. This could be items in design, fashion, food, etc… Mostly I think I will stick to design though as that is what I love the most and this is a design blog after all! I hope you guys will like this new series!
Last week I started my table/desk skirt project and also covered a bulletin board in a fun new striped fabric for an inspiration board. It’s nowhere near done and I planned on giving you a sneak peek today but unfortunately my camera battery is dead and I cannot find the charger! Hopefully I’ll find it by tomorrow.
Have a great day and make sure to come back tomorrow for day # 1 of 25 things I love!

I’m actually in the exact same position – having to stay at my small condo longer than planned. We’ve decided to tackle many projects regardless of the return-on-investment, so that we can be happy where we live. They are mostly cosmetic and fairly affordable changes, but I say why not make the most of where you are living now!
