When I saw this picture my first thought was that I really liked these lamps. My second thought was that these could be an easy DIY project.
I would go about this project by going to Goodwill and picking up some old lamps. I’d start with a more simple lamp base than the one shown in this picture though. One that is the same width from top to bottom would probably be easiest. Target, Michael’s and JoAnn’s all carry rolls of cork board that can be cut to size and wrapped around the lamp base. I would try using a hot glue gun to adhere the cork to the lamp and just wrap and hold the cork down as I go around the lamp base. I’ve also seen this done on vases, candle holders, etc…
What do you guys think? Does this seem like an easy enough project?

That’s a fun idea! I think it would be easy enough on lamps without any curves, but could see it being problematic at the neck or base where there are curves…not sure if the cork would lay flat/evenly. But certainly worth a shot!
yes ,it is very easy…but beautiful…
