For those of you that don’t know who Sixx Design is, they are quickly becoming one of New York’s most popular design firms. With the season finale of their show on Bravo, 9 by Design, airing last night, many of us viewers are left wanting more. Although their family life is quite chaotic (7 kids), it is fun to watch and see how they balance family life with their design work and how they do it as a family. The number one reason I am a fan is because of their unique interiors. They create a “pop art” kind of feel with lots of white walls, maybe white floors and then bright pops of fun color throughout. Sixx Design uses plenty of antiques that they refurbish into modern pieces, flea market finds and one of a kind commissioned art pieces from their favorite artists. Their projects are definitely a sight to be seen and I look forward to hopefully seeing them again next season on Bravo!
Here is the boutique hotel that Sixx Design was working on in last nights season finale:
Do you love this hotel design or do you think it’s too over the top for you?

I’ve really been enjoying this show. I love seeing how they come up with their designs and how they manage to balance it with such a large family! I hope they come back for another season.
